A new partner for the Frankfurt International Trophy

The German beer academy (Deutsche BierAkademie, DBA) is now a partner of the 2019 edition of the Frankfurt International Trophy. DBA will train the beer competition’s future amateur jurors, who will taste beers registered in the competition alongside beer professionals. The training will give future jurors a recognized title and allow them to put what they have learned directly into practice at an international competition of the highest level.

The German beer academy (Deutsche BierAkademie, DBA) was created in 2013. Since then many amateur beer lovers and beer professionals have participated in its training sessions, which are highly professional yet also fun. DBA offers a wide variety of programmes, including training for employees in the drinks and tourism sector and theme-based trips focusing on beer all around the world. The academy also provides consulting for companies in the beer and gastronomy sector. In 2015, the association of Bavarian brewers and the hotel and restaurant association (DEHOGA) officially recognised DBA’s commitment to the beer sector by attributing the “Golden Beer Idea” prize to the Academy.
